PHOTOGRAPHER INFORMATION
Share and Sell your photos!
We hope that you share the same vision as us in creating an archive of all wildlife images in this website to be enjoyed and viewed by anyone who can access the internet. Such sharing will enhance the awareness and appreication of our viewers and in hope to better maintain and preserve the beauties that our nature has given us.
General Conditions to be a Contributor/Photographer to Imagewildlife
1. You have to be the owner of the photos (ie. It is your own work), and you are the copyright holder for the photos that you upload to imagewildife.
2. All photos you uploaded remain your property.
3. Imagewildlife only provides the platform for your to publicise and sell your photos.
4. Only photographs of wildlife in jpg format will be accepted by imagewildlife.
5. Your photos will be subjected to the term of use by any user.
6. You have to agree to the above conditions, and “Terms & Conditions” spelled up in the Term & Conditions page in the signup page. (See “Terms & Conditions” for photographer.)
Procedure for Signing up as a Contributor & a Photographer
1. Register by clicking onto the Signup link for photographer. Agree to the Terms and Conditions, and fill in your details as requested. Then click Submit.
3. Imagewildlife will only activate your account after successfully verifying your submission (this will normally take 1 to 2 days. If you are not activated after 2 days, please contact us at
support@imagewildlife.com.)
4. Once activated, you are able to login to your photorgrapher’s login site of imagewildlife.com to upload your photos for sharing and sales.
* Note: after you have sign up, you will not be able to Sign in until imagewildlife has activate you account.
Uploading of images and Managing your account
1. You can upload, view, edit and manage your file all in your photogapher’s account when you sign in.
2. A subcategory name will be created for you (your choice of name. As a default, it will be your submitted name), & you can feature your photos in this category or/and any main categories available.
*Note: To ensure that your account is organised properly for ease of your managment, you should put all your photos in your own assigned name category (as the main category) under photographers. Then you can choose to also feature in other category as your optional/secondary category. Do you put your photos in other photographers category.
3. Pricing of all images a set to the resolution/size of the image & is limited to 5000pix. Photographer has to set your own pricing for only the original digital version in the edit page for your image. While the pricings of other sizes are set by imagewildlife.
4. Hope your images will be enjoyed by everyone. Sales may take a few months later, depending on the quality and popularity of the image.
Payment
1. The payment scheme will be
a. 60% commission for the sale of image that is $10 (and priced at $10) or above (for digital/original version of the image uploaded).
b. 50% commission for the sale of image that is $3 (and priced at $3) or above (lower $10).
c. 40% commission for the sale of image that is $2 (and priced at $2) or above (lower $3).
d. 30% commission for the sale of image that is $1 (and priced at $2) or above (lower $2).
2. All pricing are in US Dollar.
3. The differences in the commission is deal to the fee needed for payment gateway/merchants and administrative fee base on transaction. Hence the higher the price of the photo, you will get more commission as compared to the lower priced one.
4. The percentage of commission payout excludes any additional fee required for the transfer of money from imagewildlife to you, depending on your payment gateway/merchant. If there is a need for a transfer fee to your account/bank, imagewildlife will further deduct from your commission if imagewildlife needs to pay, else the fee for the transfer will be bounded by you. (e.g. if you have a paypal’s personal account, then it is 'free' for sending and receiving money - check paypal.com for update & information if we want to know more.)
5. The pricing and commission are subjected to changes and reviews.
